Originally billed as a "surreal yuppie western," Laid to Rest is the story of up-and-coming executive Peter Holland (Richard Conti), who is forced to fire his best friend and mentor (Tim Campbell) to make room for "new young blood." Ridden with guilt, Peter and his wife Dana (Llysa Holland) escape on a weekend getaway and find themselves stranded in a mysterious small town where they are menaced by the corrupt Sheriff Chauncey (Douglas Ian Gordon) and his deputy (Derick Alexander). It also stars H. Lee Burton, Mason Cartmell, Steve Adamczyk, Riley O'Callaghan, and David B. Jacobson.
